According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the population of Moorhead, MN is just over 38,000 people. The population has been growing over the last decade and the city is located in Clay County. The City of Moorhead runs along the eastern edge of the Red River. Fargo, ND is located on the western/opposite side of the Red River.
Moorhead is home to a number of colleges and universities including Minnesota State University Moorhead which is a public institution, Concordia College which is a private liberal arts college, Rasmussen College (2-4 year college), Minnesota State Community and Technical College (2-4 year college), and Globe University which was formerly known as the Minnesota School of Business and is a private college.
